Violin Repair Program - Instructors

• Lisbeth Nelson Butler (Taught at MSC Southeast 1990-2017)

Lisbeth Nelson Butler began teaching in the String Instrument Repair Program at MSC Southeast in January of 1990. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in violin performance, graduated from the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City, and received a Master’s in Educational Leadership. Before coming to Minnesota, she ran her own violin shop in Des Moines and played in the Des Moines Symphony.
