Violin Repair Program - Optional Coursework

Note: at this time (2018) the Violin Construction option is not available. Check back in the future to see if a new construction program is developed.

Students attending the Violin Repair Program may also have the option to enroll in Violin Construction, a two-semester course. The course covers tool skills, use of appropriate materials, points of violin making style, and some historic context. 

There is a manual designed specifically for the course and recommended resource books and materials will be presented as the class progresses.

Students may choose to make either an Andrea Amati model or a "Golden Period" Stradivari.
