Band Instrument Repair Program - SE Tech Red Wing

Band Instrument Repair Program - Expenses

All students, regardless of state/country of origin, pay resident/in-state tuition for the BIR program.

Specific to BIR, in 2009-2010, tuition and fees were approximately $6715.00.  Cost of tools, books, and miscellaneous supplies was $1500.00.  Expect tuition for 2010-2011 to be a bit higher.  For more specific information, refer to the Tuition & Fees page on the Minnesota State College Southeast Technical web site.

36 credits of technical courses and 6 credits of general education credits are required to complete the Diploma in Band Instrument Repair. You may be able to transfer in general education credits from another college or test out of some general education courses.

The college also has an active Foundation with many scholarships available.  Also, through our financial aid office there are a number of grants and loans you may qualify for.  Contact Anne Dahlen (adahlen@southeastmn.edu)  for more information on financial aid.

Additional
In addition to all of the above, students need to be prepared to cover their room, board and transportation expenses in order to attend the program.
